Substitute Teachers

We process substitute teacher applications throughout the school year.

If you are interested in substitute teaching for us, please submit your resume with a letter indicating your interest in and knowledge of Waldorf education to hrc@vws.ca. We encourage those interested in substitute teaching for us to attend an information session, if possible. Please see our school calendar for the dates and times.

• Waldorf teachers typically complete their Waldorf Teacher Training in addition to their undergraduate degrees.
• Early Childhood Educators substitutes are fully ECE certified.
• Our substitute teachers are not required to have completed Waldorf Teaching Training, but they should have an explicit interest in Waldorf education.

Once we receive your application, we will reply and arrange for an interview.
