A school that charged the full cost of educating its students would price itself out of the market, making Waldorf education out of reach for working families. Like most independent schools, we rely on Annual Funds and different fundraisers and campaigns to keep tuition increases as modest as possible, making  VWS affordable to as many qualified students as possible.

The school relies on fundraising and the many generous current and past Waldorf families to provide financial support so we can offer the range of programs, activities, trips, events, performances, and festivals that the community has come to expect as part of the exceptional Waldorf experience we provide.
