Rose Ceremony
Tuesday, June 13 @ 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm
The Rose Ceremony is a meaningful and symbolic event that honours the Grade 12 students as they near their graduation from high school. It involves students from each grade and provides an opportunity for reflection, celebration, and anticipation of the future.
At a whole school assembly, the Grade 12 students are presented with the gift of a poem, song, or recorder piece from each grade. These presentations serve as a beautiful retrospective of their years in the school. Following the presentations, the Grade 1 children present each graduate with a rose. This is a touching and emotional moment as it marks the end of one chapter of the student’s lives and the beginning of a new one. The rose also serves as a reminder of the support and encouragement the students received from their teachers, families, and peers throughout their educational journey.
Families of the graduating class are warmly invited as special guests to this internal school assembly.
