Parent Portal

Access your child’s assessments, update contact details, review policies, and complete annual forms in the Ravenna Parent Portal.

Complete these annual required forms before their due date.

  • From the Parent Portal, navigate to Parents → Request for Information → Claim → Submit.

Keep your contact information current to best support your child.

  • From the Parent Portal, navigate to My Account → Personal Information → Save Personal Information.

Announcements & Calendar

Stay informed about key updates and events by reading all school emails, including teacher updates, The Waldorf Weekly (our weekly bulletin), and The Current (our monthly newsletter).
If you are not receiving these updates, please check your spam folder or email Laura at communications@vws.ca to update your contact information.

Attendance, Parking & Transportation

  • Absences: If your child will be absent, please call or email:
    • Early Childhood: 604-985-7435 x (classroom extension) or email your teacher
    • Grade School: 604-985-7435 x 421 or reception@vws.ca
    • High School: 604-986-2922 or highschool@vws.ca
  • Extended Absences: For absences of three days or longer, please email the Principal at
    principal@vws.ca.
  • Punctuality:
    • Late Arrivals: Grade school and high school students must report to Reception before going to class. Grade school students should also pick up a late slip for their teacher.
    • Drop-Off: Arriving on time helps maintain a smooth drop-off process and ensures students can start their day calmly. Late arrivals can cause delays and disrupt your child’s morning routine.
    • Pick-Up: Being on time to pick up your child helps us maintain an orderly, secure end to the day. If you are running late, please notify the school office as soon as possible.
  • Early Dismissals:
    • Early Childhood: If your child needs to leave early, email your teacher or call 604-985-7435 x (classroom extension).
    • Grade School & High School: Students must sign out at Reception before leaving. Parents should inform both Reception and the class teacher/advisor in advance (via note, email, or voicemail).

  • Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Park in the neighbourhood and walk your child to class or use designated drop-off areas.
  • Parking: The Lynn Valley parking lot is reserved for faculty/staff between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. Limited visitor parking is available for those with infants under 12 months or accessibility needs, as noted in the Parent Handbook.

Our school bus offers pick-up and drop-off from various locations across Greater Vancouver, plus a morning shuttle between Lynn Valley and Edgemont for High School students. Email bus@vws.ca for routes, fees, and availability.
